In this session you will learn why that is the case, what are the most common threats, how to plan for an attack, and what to do if you become a victim. Ryan Burns MLIS, Cyber Risk Services Manager, TML Intergovernmental Risk Pool will be speaking with Will Trevino on the importance of cybersecurity.

Government entities are especially susceptible to cyberattacks because of the vast amounts of sensitive data they possess about infrastructure and their residents. Any government entity, regardless of size, is at risk for a cyberattack. In this session, you’ll learn about the importance of safeguarding this information, and the penalties and risks associated with failing to do so. You will also learn what is required of your client in response to a cybersecurity breach.
The course will be held via webcast on July 29 – 30, 2021 with a webcast replay on August 17 – 18, 2021.
